Accredited Register Scheme for Clinical Psychologists - Consultation (Phase 2)
Since Division of Clinical Psychology, the Hong Kong Psychological Society Limited (DCP-HKPS) submitted an application for the Pilot Scheme of the Accredited Registers for Healthcare Professions (Pilot Scheme) in February 2017, active communication has been maintained with the Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (JCSPHPC), which is the government-appointed accreditation agent of the Pilot Scheme.
Upon receiving advice from JCSPHPC, DCP-HKPS has started the process of open consultation with stakeholders in 2017. The first phase of the Open Consultation, which included an open forum and the collection of feedback via a survey, was completedby December 2017. Now DCP-HKPS has been advised to proceed to the second phase of Open Consultation which will focus on the Registration Criteria and Training Standard for the Accredited Register of Clinical Psychologists.
